Mondelez International Inc. in Mexico is seeking a maintenance specialist to ensure optimal operation of sanitary conveyor systems on the manufacturing line.

You will lead a line team and apply systematic maintenance planning to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets. The role emphasizes preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, development of robust maintenance plans, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to sustain long-term machine reliability.

Formación

• Experience with AM/PM systems and maintenance planning.
• Ability to maintain equipment to basic condition independently.
• Experience with TPM and Six Sigma concepts related to maintenance steps.
• Experience leading line teams and managing interpersonal situations.
• Ability to influence at union environments and communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose faults quickly on conveyor transport systems.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Make adjustments, alignment, tensioning, and splicing of belts.
• Develop robust maintenance plans for each system.
• Select materials suitable for food environments.
• Document knowledge and develop the team.
• Apply automation and pneumatics to transport systems.

How you will contribute

Without you, we could not deliver high-quality snacks to our customers. You ensure that Mondelēz International’s safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets are achieved for the lines for which you are responsible by breaking down section targets into line and unit targets and ensuring that employees understand their individual performance goals related to the overall targets. In this role, you will also develop budgets and be responsible for costs control management, governance and compliance, loss elimination and workforce planning, including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and the identification of high-potential team members.

What you will bring

• Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems

• Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment

• Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3

• Leading line teams

• Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully

• Influencing people in a union environment

• Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and a good attention to detail

Asegurar el funcionamiento óptimo de los sistemas de bandas transportadoras sanitarias mediante la implementación de estrategias de mantenimiento preventivo, predictivo y correctivo, así como el desarrollo técnico del equipo de trabajo.

¿Qué harás en este rol?

• Diagnosticar fallas de manera rápida y precisa en sistemas transportadores

• Ejecutar y planear mantenimiento preventivo, predictivo y correctivo de bandas sanitarias

• Realizar ajustes, alineación, tensado y empalmes de bandas transportadoras

• Desarrollar planes de mantenimiento robustos adaptados a cada tipo de sistema

• Seleccionar materiales adecuados para entornos alimenticios

• Documentar conocimiento técnico y desarrollar al equipo de trabajo

• Aplicar principios de automatización y neumática en sistemas de transporte

Conocimientos Técnicos que Buscamos

• Neumática aplicada a sistemas de transporte

• Bandas transportadoras sanitarias para industria alimenticia (modulares, planas, etc.)

• Sensores y detectores de proximidad en líneas de transporte

• Materiales para distintos tipos de bandas sanitarias

• Automatización aplicada a sistemas de transporte

• Componentes, modos de falla, ajustes, alineación y empalmes
