Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Connectivity and Network Specialist for an on-site role in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. You will manage and optimize the network infrastructure powering telecommunications services, ensuring high performance and robust security across all components.

You will work hands-on with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to maintain peak operations. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, detailed documentation, and proactive upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or a similar telecom role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
• Experience with network security best practices and firewalls/VPN implementations.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
• Knowledge of wireless networking standards and security protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Our client is looking for a dedicated Connectivity and Network Specialist to join their operations in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. This role is critical for managing and optimizing the network infrastructure that powers our client's advanced telecommunications services. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity, high performance, and robust security across all network components. This position requires hands‑on experience with a variety of network technologies and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact users. As an on‑site role, you will have direct access to network hardware and the opportunity to collaborate closely with the local IT and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

Requirements
