Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Especialista en Compras y Logística de Materiales to join their operations in Guadalajara, Jalisco . This role is pivotal in managing the acquisition of raw materials and components, ensuring timely delivery, and optimizing inventory levels to support production needs efficiently. You will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiation, and maintaining robust supply chain relationships to guarantee the consistent availability of necessary materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, components, and supplies according to specifications and quality standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock, minimizing holding costs while preventing stockouts.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure efficient and timely transportation of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory data.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
