Job summary

Confidential Careers seeks a senior environmental due diligence leader to drive EDD, ESG assessments, EHS audits, and environmental risk evaluations for M&A, project finance, and investments across Latin America. You will mentor junior consultants and support business development while engaging clients directly.

The role requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and a track record of delivering complex, high-quality reports with cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting, EHS compliance, ESG advisory, or environmental risk management.
• Experience leading Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) and ESG assessment projects.
• Strong understanding of international standards and frameworks (IFC, Equator Principles, World Bank EHS Guidelines, ISO 14001).
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental Due Diligence (EDD), ESG Due Diligence and environmental risk assessment projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across geographies and disciplines.
• Prepare, review, and approve high-quality technical reports and client deliverables.
• Identify environmental liabilities, compliance gaps, and ESG-related considerations for transactions.
