Kiewit Mexico is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to ensure our construction projects comply with environmental regulations and sustain a safe, healthy workplace. The role covers developing compliance programs, auditing practices, and coordinating with contractors and regulators across multiple markets.

The position requires a bachelor’s in a related field, 3–7 years in environmental compliance, and the ability to travel to sites.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in environmental compliance in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations covering air/water quality, waste management, and hazardous materials.
• Experience with EMS and environmental permits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and coordinate environmental compliance programs for all construction projects.
• Identify and evaluate environmental risks and impacts associated with construction activities.
• Oversee implementation of environmental policies and training programs.
• Attend meetings with contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders on environmental issues.
• Conduct environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide guidance to project teams to address environmental issues in planning and execution.
• Develop and maintain environmental reports and records.
