Entry Director in Innovation and Transformation
Location: Monterrey Campus

Disruption is the new normal, and at Tecnológico de Monterrey, every morning we wake up with the responsibility of transforming our surroundings. Our processes are people-centered, ensuring extraordinary experiences through our talent and the innovative Educational Model. Here, you’ll find your purpose, seize innovative opportunities, and be part of a collaborative culture based on inclusion, meritocracy, and respect.

What will you do?

Lead the academic experience by following up, managing, and promoting the proper development of students’ competencies during their first three semesters, while supporting their engagement in academic activities and experiences that strengthen their graduate profile. You will also support student recruitment at entry level — mainly for Mechatronics and Industrial programs.

  1. Provide guidance in choosing their academic program, structure, and concentrations.
  2. Support students who wish to change their program.
  3. Ensure the academic integration of new students into their program and lead recruitment efforts at entry level.
  4. Advise students in selecting their academic units (UFs) during planning and enrollment for their first three semesters and intensive periods, reinforcing self-management at all times.
  5. Ensure students’ enrollment is accurate and complete.
  6. Promote, advise, authorize, and validate international experiences and various internationalization activities available to students, while monitoring and supporting the internationalization indicators of the program.
  7. Be familiar with, promote, and advise students regarding participation in academic distinctions (e.g., the International Diploma).
  8. Address questions and concerns from parents regarding academic topics, among others.
Your main challenges will be:
  • Manage actions aimed at tracking and improving the academic experience of students during their first three semesters.
  • Monitor, manage, and promote the proper development of students’ competencies.
  • Ensure the quality of academic training for IIT students by guiding and supporting them in the different curricular options of their study plan, as well as in international opportunities, internship selection, concentrations, networking, etc.
  • Monitor indicators and evidence, and prepare self‑study reports for accrediting bodies covering the first three semesters of the program.
  • Foster connections between the program, companies, and other universities.
What are we looking for?
  • Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, obtained from a Top 200 QS‑ranked university, or with research stays at top universities.
  • Note: For external candidates, a Ph.D. is a mandatory requirement. For internal candidates, a Master’s degree in the area may be considered.
  • Professional experience abroad and/or in the industrial sector (preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership in the field of Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, and/or Manufacturing.
Why work with us?
