Slalom is seeking a Practice Director focused on our LATAM Global Delivery Centers to advise on growth, staffing and nearshore optimization, aligning US and regional teams for seamless delivery.

You will partner with center leaders, manage risks, guide engagement teams, and travel up to 25% to support client pursuits and delivery.

As a Practice Director focused on working with our Global Delivery Centers in LATAM, you are a strategic advisor optimizing our global delivery capabilities. You collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure efficient use of nearshore resources, provide guidance on staffing plans, and support client engagements by fostering seamless integration between US and global teams.

What You’ll Do

• Advise on team growth strategy including structure and ratios of roles and titles to ensure successful achievement of business objectives and culture of connection is maximized.
• Work with delivery center leaders on performance, skill development needs, and hiring/capacity planning.
• Identify and manage risks associated with resources, ensuring awareness of potential challenges.
• Gather customer feedback to identify demand trends and adjust resource planning accordingly.
• Collaborate with Partner Talent Fulfillment (PTF) to assess partnership opportunities and facilitate engagements.
• Support pursuits and RFPs by explaining our global expertise to clients.
• Educate and promote our model in market conversations.
• Travel up to 25% for collaborating with our internal teams and support client pursuits and delivery.

What You’ll Bring

• Spanish and English language fluency
• Extensive experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
• Extensive experience in global delivery models, with a focus on nearshore and offshore strategies.
• Strong understanding of strategic alignment of nearshore resources with company objectives.
• Proven ability to manage risks and set realistic expectations in talent acquisition and staffing.
• Experience in facilitating collaboration between diverse teams across multiple regions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and Rally.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage clients and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support global collaboration and client engagements.
