This role involves developing new configurable product families in SAP and collaborating with various teams to resolve issues related to manufacturing and engineering changes. CommScope is looking to add a R&D Product Development Engineer to our Juárez Team.

How You’ll Help us Connect the World

The CTO Engineer launches new product lines as Configure-to-Order (CTO) in SAP by developing new configurable product families, executing BOM Rules from R&D, Routing Rules from Manufacturing, Pricing Rules from PLM, and providing diagnostics and support for configurable MIDs in SAP.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Develop and program new configurable product families (SAP Variant Configuration).
• Interact with different functional groups (R&D and Manufacturing engineers, Product and Project Managers, Pricing team, and IT support).
• Support multiple areas like Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and Warehouse with the assessment and resolution of problems associated with SAP Material Master data and CTO BOMs, RTGs and Pricing.
• Create and process CTO changes using the Engineering Change tool (CMR / CMO).
• Make independent analyses and judgments in the execution of work assignments. Review with supervisor or others as directed by supervisor and correct any discrepancies found in work output.
• This job / function must understand and comply with the Environmental, Health & Safety requirements along with its policies, standards and applicable procedures.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor´s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineer.
• Knowledge of SAP and navigation of ERP systems and / or other business systems knowledge.
• Knowledge of different product drawing data bases
• Knowledge of engineering change systems
• Bilingual : English proficiency spoken and written 50%

You Will Excite us if you Have

• 2 years’ experience in engineering.
• Multiple SAP T-Codes to create and execute massive changes
