Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC se dedica a soluciones dinámicas para mejorar el rendimiento y la seguridad de vehículos comerciales. Buscamos un Control Engineer con fuerte base en programación, electrónica, eléctrica, mecánica y neumática para apoyar maquinaria de planta y sistemas de adquisición de datos.

Se valorará experiencia en IATF-16949, 4–8 años en roles similares y dominio del español e inglés.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or similar technical field.
• Greenbelt certification is required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience installing and managing a data collection system complying with IATF-16949.
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinar, supervisar y participar en todas las pruebas de bancada en apoyo de manufactura, incluyendo adquisición, runoff, gage R&R, programación, calibración, solución de problemas y mantenimiento.
• Diseñar y gestionar sistemas de soporte de procesos para maximizar uptime y disponibilidad (OEE).
• Soporte diario a equipos en calibración y pruebas.
• Desarrollar/ampliar sistema de adquisición de datos en tiempo real. Analizar datos de proceso para capacidad y optimización.
• Asegurar cumplimiento de equipos con normas de seguridad.
• Apoyar actividades IATF-16949.
• Asistir en el sistema de recolección de datos para información de calidad.
• La persona tiene la autoridad para detener la línea de producción ante defectos.
• Apoyar PSA y procedimientos con el equipo.
• Realizar todas las actividades requeridas por el puesto.
• Este puesto no supervisa a otros empleados.

Resumen del Puesto:

The Controls Engineer supports the maintenance automated equipment used to release production parts within the plant.

Funciones Esenciales:

• Coordinate, supervise, and participate in all test stand activities in support of manufacturing, including procurement, runoff, gage R&R, programming, calibration, troubleshooting, modification, and maintenance.
• Design and manage process support systems to maximize equipment up-time and availability (OEE).
• Daily support to work teams in the area of calibration and test.
• Develop/extend system for real-time data acquisition. Analyze process data for capability and process optimization potential.
• Assure equipment compliance to all safety standards and regulations.
• Supports IATF-16949 activities
• Assist in the data collection system in order to provide quality information
• The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.
• Support PSA activities and procedures with team members
• Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required

Conocimiento:

• Must have strong programming, electronics, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic background

Experiencia:

• Must have experience installing and managing a data collection system, in accordance with the intent of IATF-16949 standards
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience.

Habilidades:

• Self-starter, capable of working independently, highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the creativity to achieve results quickly.
• Ability to effectively interface with others as necessary to resolve scheduling, designs, quality, repair, calibration issues.
• Posses' exceptional technical skills (electronic, electrical and mechanical), PLC programming and installation, pressure transducers, strain gages, wiring, design and build, and standard electronic test equipment.
• Must have demonstrated ability in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating sophisticated automated equipment

Educación/Certificaciones:

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or similar technical field.
• Greenbelt certification a must.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
