GameChange Energy is seeking an Electronics Materials Coordinator to ensure timely availability of electronic components and materials for production. The role collaborates with procurement, planning, warehouse, and suppliers to optimize inventory and supplier performance in a fast-growing environment.

The position requires coordinating material flow, monitoring forecasts, and expediting critical parts while traveling to US vendor locations.

Formación

  • Experience with electronic components and BOM management.
  • Forecasting and demand planning experience.
  • Procurement and purchasing experience.
  • Inventory management and ERP/MRP familiarity.
  • Experience in PCB/EMS manufacturing environments.
  • Strong supplier negotiation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate the flow of electronic components and raw materials to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor material requirements based on forecasts, MRP, and production demand.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP systems and perform cycle counts.
  • Expedite critical components to prevent production delays and track LTBs.
  • Communicate shortages and recovery plans to procurement and planning teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with procurement, planning, quality, engineering, finance, logistics, and sourcing.
  • Travel as required.

Candidate will be required to travel from Mexico, to multiple US Vendor Locations. TN Visa is required, we will sponsor TN Visa if needed. This role will begin as a Contractor until TN Visa is acquired then will discuss Permanent conversion.

GameChange Energy is looking for innovative, intelligent, and driven professionals who want to positively impact the planet through the role of Electronics Materials Coordinator. This positionis responsible for ensuring that electronic components, raw materials and supplies are available to support production while maintaining optimal inventory levels, supplier performance, and material accuracy. This role bridges procurement, planning, warehouse, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations and avoid shortages or excess inventory. As a part of the Commodity team, is it critical to always be ready to tackle new obstacles in an effort to best support our supply chain. Roles and responsibilities include but will not be limited to: Material/Component Planning & Coordination
  • Coordinate the flow of electronic components and raw materials to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor material requirements based on forecasts, MRP, and production demand.
  • Ensure materials are available before production starts.
  • Expedite critical components to prevent production delays.
  • Communicate shortages and recovery plans to procurement manager, production and planning teams.
  • Monitor component lifecycle status (Active, EOL, Obsolete).
  • Coordinate Last Time Buy (LTB) opportunities.
  • Monitor allocation risks and long lead-time components.
  • Work cross-functionally with procurement, planning, quality, engineering, finance, logistics, warehouse, and sourcing teams.
Inventory Management
  • Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, electronic components and indirect supplies to maintain target stock.
  • Perform daily reviews of inventory shortages and excess inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate variances.
  • Establish and monitor reorder points and safety stock levels.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory audits.
  • Track and reduce slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory (SLOB).
  • Support disposition of nonconforming materials.
  • Travel as required
Purchase Order Coordination
  • Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs).
  • Maintain purchasing records and documentation.
  • Track open purchase orders, supplier commitments and expedite critical materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on order confirmations, lead times, cancellations, reschedules and deliveries and update ERP promise dates.
  • Verify supplier acknowledgements.
Procurement Coordination
  • Support procurement manager with RFQs, cost comparisons and PPV tracking.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with production schedules and inventory targets.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding and documentation.
  • Communicate daily with suppliers regarding:
  • shortages
  • quality concerns
  • shipment tracking
  • Escalate supply risks, delays, or capacity constraints to procurement manager.
  • Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
ERP/System Maintenance
  • Update ERP/MRP systems with accurate:
  • PO status
  • inventory transactions
  • supplier lead times
  • safety stock levels
  • part information
  • Generate inventory and procurement reports.
  • Maintain data accuracy for planning and purchasing functions.
Reporting & KPI Tracking

Track and report metrics such as:

  • Inventory accuracy
  • Inventory turns
  • Material shortages
  • Critical component availability
  • Purchase order aging
  • Stockout frequency
  • Excess and obsolete inventory reduction
  • Purchase price variance (PPV)
  • Expedite costs
  • Supplier lead time performance
Key Skills and Knowledge Requirements
  • Electronic component knowledge (ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, semiconductors)
  • 3-4 years related experience
  • Forecasting and demand planning
  • Procurement and purchasing experience
  • Inventory management
  • BOM (Bill of Materials) management
  • PCB and EMS manufacturing environment exposure
  • Supplier negotiation and communication
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
