Doosan Bobcat is seeking an Electrical Technician to support manufacturing by diagnosing electrical defects, documenting root cause, and implementing corrective actions with Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering teams.

The role involves understanding electrical schematics, training operators on standard work, and collaborating to enhance electrical routing and installation procedures. Candidates should read electronic diagrams, problem-solve, and communicate findings effectively.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to read electronic diagrams and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Excel and Office.
• English proficiency ~70%.

Responsabilidades

Job Information

The Electrical Technician will provide direct support to manufacturing operations by troubleshooting & documenting root cause of electrical defects on Doosan Bobcat Compact Equipment. Work with Quality, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Product Engineering groups on containment and corrective actions pertaining to electrical defects. Monitor, evaluate, train, and improve electrical system installation processes. This role also executes other elements of the Sustaining Engineering functions.

Role & Responsibilities

Electrical Root Cause Analysis

• Understand electrical schematics and know how to use troubleshooting tools to diagnose electrical defects.
• Is responsible for investigating electrical failures, non-conformities, and field returns related to complex electrical issues including wire harnesses.

Containment and Corrective Action

• Work with appropriate engineering groups to contain defects and initiate corrective actions.
• May include updating standard work and ECN implementation support.

Root Cause Documentation

• Work with Quality Engineering team to appropriately document electrical defects. Includes documentation of problem, root cause, and resolution.

Communicate Best Practices

• Assist in training operators on standard work and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering groups to improve electrical routings and installation procedures.

Part/Process Assessment

• Execute part/process evaluation to conformance of standard work and best practices to identify and execute improvements or communicate findings to appropriate teams.

Job Requirements

• Education Required: Engineering-General Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience Required: >3 years
• Travel Required: Must be knowledgeable in reading electronic diagrams and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Strong electrical/electronic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use vehicle diagnostic tools preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction equipment operation and components.
• Good written & verbal communication.
• Ability to follow written & oral work instructions.
• Familiar with Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with root cause analysis and problem-solving skills preferred.
• English 70% proficiency.
