Inventus Power México is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design, analyze, develop, and validate electronic hardware for battery systems, chargers, and high-reliability products.

The role covers the full product development cycle from concept to testing and manufacturing support, collaborating with global teams and providing technical input to production. English proficiency required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 0–3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing or product development is preferred.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design and DC power electronics is required.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics.
• Develop PCB layouts and support PCB design activities.
• Generate and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Perform circuit analysis and worst case analysis (WCA).
• Conduct component derating calculations and reliability assessments.
• Collaborate with PCBA suppliers on DFM activities.
• Prepare DFMEA documentation.
• Build, test, and evaluate prototypes and document results.

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, development, and validation of electronic hardware for battery systems, chargers, and high-reliability electronic products.

This role participates throughout the product development cycle, from concept and design through testing, validation, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement. The engineer will work closely with global engineering teams and provide technical support for existing production products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics.
• Develop PCB layouts and support PCB design activities.
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
• Perform circuit analysis and Worst Case Analysis (WCA).
• Conduct component derating calculations and reliability assessments.
• Collaborate with PCBA suppliers on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) activities.
• Select and evaluate electronic components, microcontrollers, battery management devices, and charger circuitry.
• Prepare and maintain Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documentation.
• Build, test, and evaluate prototypes while documenting results and recommendations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product integration and implementation.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering specifications, and design documentation.
• Provide technical support for existing products and manufacturing operations.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 0 to 3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing or product development.
• Experience in consumer electronics, telecommunications, automotive, military, or related industries is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
• Understanding of DC power electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture tools.
• Familiarity with electronic CAD software such as Altium Designer and/or OrCAD/Cadence.
• PCB design experience is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
