A leading HVAC manufacturer in Ramos Arizpe is seeking an EHS Supervisor to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in Environmental Technology or similar fields, strong English skills, and experience in managing EHS procedures. Responsibilities include supervising compliance, coordinating EHS strategies, and managing safety initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to influence EHS policy and practice in a dynamic high-growth environment.

Formación

  • Experience in managing EHS procedures.
  • Ability to coordinate EHS awareness campaigns.
  • Competence in conducting root cause analysis for incidents.

Responsabilidades

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements in Safety, Health, and Environment.
  • Supervise EHS indicators and reporting.
  • Coordinate emergency response teams and drills.

Description

We are actively looking for an EHS Supervisor who will support and guide in Safety, Health and Environmental aspects. Developing, implementing and maintaining EHS programs and policies, ensuring compliance with national regulations as well as stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications
  • Environmental Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Fluent in English language
  • Advanced Knowledge in:
    • Management of EHS procedures
    • Group management, safety commissions, sustainability committees
    • Implementation of management systems
    • Troubleshooting
    • Regulatory knowledge
    • Internal auditor
  • Decision making in the implementation and management of EHS policies
  • Knowledge in ISO‑9001 and IATF desirable
Activities
  • Compliance with and monitoring of legal requirements in Safety, Health, and Environment
  • Coordination and execution of EHS awareness campaigns
  • Supervision of unsafe acts and conditions, including the closure of findings
  • Management of EHS indicators and reports
  • Coordination of emergency response teams, drills, and emergency response
  • Participation in projects involving new production lines, facilities, and process changes
  • Administration and control of the EHS‑related budget
  • Verification of compliance with applicable standards (e.g., NOM‑002, NOM‑019)
  • Follow‑up on incidents and accidents, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
