Descripción de la vacante

Una empresa de tecnología del agua busca un profesional para implementar un sistema de gestión de Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente en Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León. El candidato ideal tiene de 6 a 10 años de experiencia en auditorías y conocimiento de regulaciones EHS. Se requiere título en Ingeniería Química, Mecánica o Industrial y conocimientos avanzados de inglés. Se ofrece un rango de salario aplicable según la localidad.

Formación

  • 6-10 años de experiencia en un campo relacionado.
  • Conocimientos avanzados de inglés.
  • Certificaciones en auditorías de sistemas ambientales.

Responsabilidades

  • Implementar un sistema de gestión de seguridad, salud y medio ambiente.
  • Desarrollar estrategias de trabajo seguro e interactuar con varias instituciones.
  • Realizar auditorías de sistemas de seguridad y realizar análisis de cumplimiento.

Responsabilidades

Implement a Safety, Health and Environmental Management System under international standards with the goals and increase the proactive culture of EHS with the staff and reducing the operations risk. /

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strategies for a suitable and safe working circle through connections with: the corporate, governmental institutions.
  2. Develop EHS&S procedures applicable to the personnel working on the plant in order to maintain the physical and material integrity of the enterprise.
  3. Advise, participate and / or carry out (as applicable) in the investigation and analysis of causes of cases related to Industrial Safety, Security, Health and Environment and inform management about the results obtained and action plans.
  4. Develop and/or implement procedures, instructions, visual aids and formats necessary to strengthen the Safety, Health and Environmental Management System.
  5. Run audits of Safety, Security, Health and Environmental systems, performing the analysis of compliance.

Carry out audits of the Industrial Safety, Property Security, Health and Environment systems, performing compliance analysis.

  1. Advice and inform the staff when a change on the regulations or politics related to EHS is made.
  2. Attend the inspections performed by the authority.
  3. Maintain all the files and EHS&S registers according to the legal requirements and the company policy.
  4. Ensure that all the people in the organization are trained with the Safety, Security, Health and Environment policies and procedures, so as to guarantee the necessary resources in order to avoid people, equipment, material, or environmental damage. Likewise, make sure that they are aware of the environmental aspects of their activity and the risks to which they are exposed.
  5. Establish, implement and maintain processes, time, training and resources for consultation and participation at all levels of the organization, as well as, determine and stable measures to eliminate or minimize obstacles and barriers to participation.
  6. Make and administer the annual budget of the area, its control and monitoring.
  7. Active participation on the identification of opportunities on EHS improvements, so as corrective and preventive actions. Ensure that corrective actions are met for deficiencies identified during inspections, audits, and incident.
  8. Know and apply the policy of the Integrated Management System.
  9. Assure the implementation and tracking of the EHS&S processes of the area and risk control, and attend the Result inspection meetings of the Management on Safe related matters
  10. Participate in planning actions to address environmental risks and opportunities, OH&S hazards and risks and other risks, OH&S opportunities, legal or other requirements
  11. Participate on the audits and the performance evaluations on EHS&S department.
  12. Guarantee a sustainable operation under the compliance of the Mexican legislation on the matter of Safety, Health and Environment
  13. In charge of the control center in case of emergency, with the support of the coordinators and the emergency brigade, following the protocols to minimize human and operational losses. Inform when the emergency is over to return to normal operation. Organize and participate in emergency drills.
  14. Ensure that the management system is in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 standards and make the communications related to the EHS approach.
  15. Inform senior management about the performance of the integrated management system, including its environmental and OSH performance.
  16. Motivate and raise awareness about the culture of pollution prevention towards the organization and maintain a high level of awareness about safety at work.
  17. Participate in the determination of: 1. Consultation and participation mechanisms; 2. Actions to eliminate dangers and risks for OSH; 3. Competency, training and evaluation requirements; 4. Information to be communicated and 5. Control measures.
  18. Manage and participate in the exercise of identification and evaluation of environmental aspects and impacts and dangers and risks for OSH, as well as their updating.
  19. Carry out operations in accordance with the environmental guidelines established by the company for the prevention of contamination to the environment and the preservation of the safety and health of the workers.
  20. Manages medical and property security services.
  21. Manages attention to reports of hazards that may result in injury, illness or environmental contingency, as well as any unsafe act.
  22. Monitor, promote and analyze the management of changes in accordance with the provisions of the organization, including the management of environmental aspects, hazards and risks
  23. Promote good performance in EHS & S by suppliers and contractors ensuring disciplinary actions as a result of violation of the protocols.
Requisitios

Education:

Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineer, similar or Safety-related.

6-10 years of experience

Knowledge

Safety, Health and Environment Regulation, Accident and Incident Prevention Programs, Safe-related Audits, 5’s, Environmental Management System, Safety Procedures, Personnel Administration, Ergonomics, Safety
