Job summary

Gsb Solutions seeks an Apps Support Intmd Analyst to join our technology team. The role blends technical know-how with business awareness, supporting Citi applications, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal tech groups and vendors.

You will build understanding of how app support areas integrate, document processes, participate in releases, and contribute to disaster recovery and risk management while maintaining strong customer service and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in apps support or related field.
• Familiar with apps support procedures and basic knowledge of other technical areas.
• Participation in some process improvements.
• Prev. experience or interest in standardization of procedures and practices.
• Basic business knowledge/understanding of financial markets and products.
• Knowledge/experience of problem management tools.
• Understands how sub-function integrates within function and commercial awareness.
• Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and business support for users of Citi applications.
• Field issues and queries from stakeholders, provide short-term resolutions and work with tech partners for long-term remediation.
• Develops understanding of how apps support areas integrate to achieve business goals.
• Acts as a liaison between users/traders and internal tech groups/vendors.
• Participates in disaster recovery testing.
• Participates in application releases from development to production.
• Performs post-release checkouts and maintains support documentation.
• Assesses implications of technology in the current environment.
• Analyzes applications to identify risks and security issues.
