Placements24 is seeking a visionary Director of AI and Data Strategy to lead our AI initiatives and data-driven decision-making in a fully remote capacity. You will define and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with business goals, driving innovation and a data-centric culture.

The role requires a strategic thinker with extensive AI/ML, data science, and leadership experience, plus a proven ability to guide cross-functional teams and communicate the AI vision to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in data science, machine learning, and AI, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful AI strategies for enterprises.
• Deep understanding of various AI/ML techniques, algorithms, and their practical applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a holistic AI and data strategy that drives business growth and innovation.
• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and data analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the end-to-end AI/ML project lifecycle, from ideation and development to deployment and optimization.
• Identify new opportunities for leveraging AI and data analytics to solve business challenges and create competitive advantages.
• Establish best practices for data governance, data quality, and AI ethics.
