Scania Nederland B.V. in Mérida, Mexico, seeks a technician to support field technicians with vehicle maintenance or repairs. The role ensures stamping of completed work and smooth flow of processes by communicating when work is finished and by implementing improvement proposals.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, follow prescribed work methods, perform visual inspections, prepare vehicles, and finalize work orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsabilidades

• Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse.
• Check availability of maintenance information.
• Ensure application of work methods.
• Perform visual inspections of the vehicle.
• Manage any deviations that arise.
• Wash parts and components.
• Start the work order.
• Prepare the vehicle or component.
• Search for information in the system.
• Perform maintenance.
• Finalize stamping.
• Clean the work area and return used tools.
• Finalise work order.
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished.
• Communicate deviations.
• Propose solutions.
• Follow up on established improvement plans.
