Job summary

Nexaminds is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to drive automation, reliability, and continuous delivery across our cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will design and implement automated deployment pipelines, modern release strategies, and cloud infrastructure, with a preference for GCP.

You will assess environments, propose solutions, and lead implementation efforts to improve release safety and operational reliability, collaborating with engineering, QA, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with deployment strategies (Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling Update).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with GCP (GKE and related services).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and release processes.
• Implement progressive delivery strategies (Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling Update).
• Evaluate deployment strategies based on availability, rollback, and complexity.
• Assess infrastructure and workflows; implement technical solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with IaC tools.
• Deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and monitor containerized apps on Kubernetes.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and incident response best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to improve reliability and velocity.

Nexaminds is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to drive automation, reliability, and continuous delivery across our cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing and implementing automated deployment pipelines, modern release strategies, and cloud infrastructure, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The role requires the ability to assess existing environments, evaluate technical trade-offs, propose solutions, and drive implementation efforts that improve release safety and operational reliability.

Location: Mexico (Remote)

This position is open exclusively to candidates who are currently residing in Mexico. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, or similar platforms.
• Strong experience implementing and evaluating Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling Update, and other deployment strategies.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures, including production troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GKE and related services.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate alternatives, propose technical solutions, and drive implementation.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation.
• Experience with security, compliance, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Exposure to AI-assisted operations, platform engineering, or SRE practices.

Job Duties

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, test, and release processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling Update, and other progressive delivery strategies using the existing technology stack.
• Evaluate deployment strategies based on availability requirements, rollback capabilities, application architecture, infrastructure capacity, traffic management, and operational complexity.
• Assess existing infrastructure and deployment workflows, identify gaps, and implement appropriate technical solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes.
• Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response best practices to improve reliability and prevent recurring issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to improve deployment reliability, release velocity, platform scalability, security, and operational excellence.
