Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) - Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP) Senior Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with AEP / RTCDP and over 6 years of overall experience in digital marketing and data development.
This role is crucial for unifying our customer data, enabling real‑time personalization, and driving data‑driven marketing strategies across the organization.
You will be the technical lead for all things related to AEP and RTCDP, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that leverage real‑time customer profiles to create personalized experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Development & Configuration: Lead the technical design and implementation of AEP and RTCDP solutions.
- Configure and manage data sources and destinations to ensure seamless data ingestion and activation.
- Develop and maintain the Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas, datasets, and data flows.
- Utilize AEP's APIs and SDKs for data collection, integration, and activation from various sources including web, mobile, and offline channels.
- Create and manage real‑time customer profiles by stitching data across different touchpoints and identities.
- Identity & Segmentation: Implement and manage identity resolution strategies to create a unified view of the customer.
- Design and build audience segments using RTCDP's segmentation engine, enabling both batch and real‑time use cases.
- Configure segment activation to various downstream systems and marketing platforms.
- Data Governance & Quality: Ensure compliance with data governance policies, privacy regulations, and security standards.
- Implement data labeling and usage policies to manage and control how data is used across the platform.
- Monitor data quality and integrity, and troubleshoot data‑related issues.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Serve as a subject‑matter expert for AEP and RTCDP, providing guidance and mentorship to other developers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing teams, data engineers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Document technical designs, processes, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- ~6+ years of overall experience in a digital marketing or data development role.
- ~3+ years of direct, hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real‑Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP).
- ~In‑depth knowledge of XDM schemas, data modeling, and identity resolution within the AEP ecosystem.
- ~Proficiency in APIs (REST) and experience with AEP's APIs for data ingestion and activation.
- ~Strong understanding of SQL, data transformation, and data governance principles.
- ~Familiarity with other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
- ~Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- ~Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Adobe Experience Platform‑related certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert - Real‑Time CDP Developer).
