Our client, a pioneering firm in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, seeks a Senior Smart Contract Developer to join a fully remote team. Work on cutting-edge decentralized technologies and help shape the future of finance in a remote-first environment.

You will design, test, and deploy secure contracts across platforms, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to architectural discussions and roadmaps while keeping up with security and efficiency best practices.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Smart Contract Developer or similar in blockchain.
• Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or other smart contract languages.
• Deep understanding of blockchain concepts, consensus mechanisms, and DLT.
• Experience with Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, Foundry.
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols and NFTs; security auditing principles.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement new features for dApps.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in smart contract development.
• Optimize contract performance and gas efficiency.
• Stay updated on blockchain tech, security vulnerabilities, and new languages/frameworks.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polygon).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features and functionalities for decentralized applications (dApps).
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices in smart contract development.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in blockchain technology, security vulnerabilities, and emerging smart contract languages and frameworks.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap of our blockchain initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to smart contract deployment and execution.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for smart contracts and related technical processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Smart Contract Developer or similar role within the blockchain industry.
• Strong proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or other relevant smart contract programming languages.
• Deep understanding of blockchain concepts, consensus mechanisms, and distributed ledger technology.
• Experience with relevant development tools and frameworks such as Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, or Foundry.
• Familiarity with security auditing principles and tools for smart contracts.
• Experience with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
