An engineering firm in Puebla is seeking a Deputy Quality Manager to oversee quality standards and coach site personnel. Formación

  • Experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements.
  • Competent on process audits under VDA or CQIs.
  • Experience with Control Plan and quality basics.

Job Description
  • Attend customer requests, including information supply, attend meetings and visits.
  • Deploy and follow with the Manufacturing and Quality Teams the FES Quality Basics and Fundamentals (standards) and QMS in the production line.
  • Coaching / Training of site personnel in Problem Solving & AIAG / VDA core tools.
  • Deploy the Quality Standards with the Plant Q Manager, the Quality Engineering, and the Manufacturing Teams
  • Establish and watch with the Q Manager and team the respect of the safety and regulation controls in the plant.
  • Ensure the align to the quality budget.
  • Support on the definition and documentation of the KPIs for Quality and Customer Satisfaction
  • Guide Process Audits under VDA 6.3 or the corresponding CQIs
  • Fluent in English
  • Highly capable on Core Tools
  • Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements, including their Score Cards
  • Proficient on process and product validation,including PY Validation, R&R and capability studies.
  • With experience working on the Control Plan setting the Quality Basics in the Plant : 1s part off, PY standards, Self-Inspection, Management of NOK Product, Rework under control, Final Inspection, Product Audits and Safe Launch.
  • High competence on Risk Assessments and mitigation plans
  • Strong knowledge on problem analysis tools : 8Ds, 5W+3L, Ishikawa, DMAIC
  • Experienced on continuous improvement and convergence plans integration.
  • Competent on Process audits under VDA or CQIs
  • LPAs and Product Audits knowledge
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload to respect internal and external commitments.
  • Lead team and have strong communication skills.
