Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• One year of experience driving 3.5 ton trucks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages and documents.
• Operate non-articulated vehicles safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Inspect and report stop counts and mis-sorts accurately.
• Seek additional business and relay leads to the sales department.
• Answer customer questions about FedEx services and keep customers informed.
• Ensure proper labeling and complete paperwork for shipments.
• Determine legality and special requirements for dangerous and international shipments.
• Scan packages according to procedures and use service features correctly.
• Ensure availability of FedEx shipping materials for customers.
• Load and unload aircraft and vehicles; operate ramp equipment.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep a professional appearance.
