TransNetwork LLC is seeking an experienced DBA Manager to lead our database administration team. You will oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of robust systems using SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, with focus on high availability and performance.

The role covers on‑prem and cloud deployments (AWS RDS, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, Redis), driving automation with IaC, setting standards, migrations, and disaster recovery, and mentoring engineers to sustain reliability and scalability.

Formación

• Leadership experience managing a DBA team.
• Expertise with SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL architectures.
• Strong HA design for on‑prem and cloud deployments.
• Proficiency in security/compliance for databases.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS) and NoSQL storages.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the DBA team and foster collaboration and accountability.
• Design, implement, and maintain high‑availability DB architectures for SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Manage on‑prem and cloud deployments, especially AWS RDS and NoSQL storages.
• Ensure security, integrity, and compliance of databases.
• Monitor and optimize performance, storage, and backups.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
