A leading industrial sterilization firm in Guadalajara is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to drive artificial intelligence initiatives and predictive modeling. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data science, excels in Python and R, and is proficient in both English and Spanish. Formación

3+ years of experience in a data science role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial context.
Deep understanding of forecasting techniques and machine learning.
Experience working with sensor data and applying techniques like FFT, filtering, and signal segmentation.

Responsabilidades

Identify opportunities for AI, Large Language Models and Machine learning in the organization.
Develop predictive models to support demand planning and operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and IT to ensure data integrity.

Data Scientist / AI Change Agent

You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models and Machine learning in the organization and become an agent to best practices and roll out.
Forecast production volumesusing seasonal trend decomposition, time-series modeling, and machine learning.
Developpredictive modelsto support demand planning, capacity analysis, and operational efficiency.
Conductproduction capacity analysisacross different facilities and modalities.
ImplementStatistical Process Control (SPC)systems to monitor production stability and detect early signs of deviation.
Analyze real-time sensor data usingsignal processing and pattern recognitiontechniques for troubleshooting and anomaly detection.
Build and maintainradioisotope demand forecastingmodels to support regulatory planning and procurement.
Support thestart-up analyticsfor the Rhodotron X-Ray facility and its integration into corporate dashboards and KPIs.
Participate ininternal compliance audits, providing analytical support and documentation as needed.
Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and IT to ensure data integrity, model adoption, and actionable insight generation.

Qualifications

Degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in a data science role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial context.
Proficiency inPython, R, or similar tools for modeling and analysis; solid experience withSQLand data visualization platforms.
Deep understanding offorecasting techniques,time-series modeling, andmachine learning.
Familiarity withSPC principles,capacity planning, androot cause analysis.
Experience working withsensor dataand applying techniques like FFT, filtering, and signal segmentation a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in bothEnglish and Spanish.
Self-starter with a high degree of autonomy, ready to help build the corporate analytics function from the ground up.
