Sanmina is seeking an AI/ML Engineer II to work on predictive modeling and data-driven decision support. You will translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing and validating models, leveraging SQL, BigQuery ML, Vertex AI AutoML, and GPU-accelerated workflows on NVIDIA systems to accelerate insights and deployment.

• Proven experience in applying statistical analysis and predictive modeling to solve real-world problems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques for effective storytelling.
• Experience running analyses and training models on systems equipped with NVIDIA data center GPUs to improve performance.
• Proficient in using BigQuery ML to rapidly build and train machine learning models directly within the data warehouse using SQL commands, streamlining the modeling process.
• Utilizes Vertex AI AutoML to quickly develop high-performing models on structured, tabular data without extensive custom coding, enabling faster project turnaround.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

The Data Scientist 2 demonstrates the ability to work independently on well-defined analytical projects. They have moved beyond foundational tasks to developing and validating predictive models and are responsible for communicating their findings to stakeholders across the organization. This level requires a deeper understanding of the business context and the ability to translate data insights into practical recommendations. Experience at this level shows a significant increase in compensation potential.
