AgileEngine is an Inc. 5000 company hiring a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines on the Databricks platform.

You will architect and deliver high-quality code, tackle production issues, and collaborate with leadership to anticipate barriers while contributing to enterprise-grade data solutions. The role emphasizes cloud technologies (AWS, serverless, microservices) and modern software engineering practices across full SDLC, with Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps

Formación

• 3 years of software development experience in commercial applications.
• Experience with Databricks platform, Unity Catalog, notebooks and pipelines.
• Experience administering RDS Postgres and Aurora databases and SQL Server.
• Proficient in cloud technologies (AWS, serverless, event-driven architecture) and CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, and deliver high-quality code independently following best practices.
• Understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and trade-offs.
• Diagnose and fix production issues.
• Communicate with the development lead to raise issues and anticipate barriers.
• Build enterprise applications at scale with strong CS fundamentals.
• Develop scalable, highly available components across front-end and back-end.
• Seek evidence through proofs of concept, tests, and external research.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
