A prominent IT services provider in Mexico seeks a Mid-Senior Data Engineer to develop and maintain architectures and datasets while coordinating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and strong proficiency in Azure services. Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Azure services and data processing.
• Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures and datasets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Coordinate the development with stakeholders, project managers, data architects, data analysts and others.
• Perform data explorations to know the data to be processed.
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
• Deliver aggregated data to business executives, analysts and end users so they can analyze it and apply the results to improving business operations.
• Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Azure services, including data storage (Blob Storage, Data Lake, Azure SQL), serverless data processing (Azure Functions, Event Grid), Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps, Databricks, and data streaming (Event Hubs, Stream Analytics).
• Experience with data warehousing solutions and dimensional modeling using Azure Synapse or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control for data pipelines.
• English Full Professional Proficiency.
