A leading consulting firm in Aguascalientes is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to enhance and maintain cloud data services. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the field, primarily with cloud services. Responsibilities include diagnosing platform issues, collaborating across teams, and designing scalable solutions. Flexibility is required to attend the Aguascalientes office periodically.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Hands‑on experience with cloud, especially in data services.

3+ years of experience in the cloud or data engineering industry, with at least 1 year working directly with cloud services.

1+ years supporting enterprise‑scale data platforms or cloud‑based data applications.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve issues across the data platform, including data pipelines, storage, and processing layers.

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application teams to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows.

Liaise with core development teams to identify root causes and implement long‑term solutions.

Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data services.

Design and implement scalable data solutions using GCP, AWS or Azure services.

Maintain documentation and knowledge base for incident resolution and platform improvements.

Support continuous improvement of data quality, reliability, and observability across the platform.

***This role may request in the near future attend to Aguascalientes office from two to three times a week
