The United Nations in Mexico City is seeking an Associate Data Specialist to support data engineering, data science and related data activities within the Resident Coordinator Office.

The position is located in the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) in Mexico City and reports to the Head of the RC Office.

You will aid the development and implementation of databases, data collection systems and data analytics that improve statistical efficiency and quality for development priorities.

Formación

• Associate Data Specialist role focusing on data engineering, data science, and analytics.
• Interacts with data specialists, officers and technical staff to develop databases and data collection systems.
• Based in the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) in Mexico City under the Head of the RC Office.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with counterparts, officers and technical staff in data engineering, data science and other data specialists for the development and implementation of databases, data collection systems and data analytics.
• Support the implementation of data analytics to optimize statistical efficiency and quality for development priorities.
• Collaborate with external partners and UN offices to exchange data and best practices.
