Job summary

Revolut Ltd in Mexico City is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data Science team. You’ll dive into complex databases, write code, and design scalable solutions that move the business forward and improve how customers experience Revolut.

You’ll analyze onboarding and FinCrime workflows, build and maintain SQL queries and dashboards in Looker, monitor KPIs across KYC/CDD, AML, and related processes, and collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Data teams to translate problems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis with actionable insights.
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar.
• Proven ability to build dashboards and monitor metrics.

Responsibilities

• Analyse onboarding and FinCrime workflows to identify trends and bottlenecks.
• Perform root-cause analyses across datasets to explain issues and quantify impact.
• Build and maintain SQL queries, datasets, and analytical tools to monitor onboarding and FinCrime.
• Define and monitor KPIs across KYC/CDD, onboarding, screening, AML, and related workflows.
• Develop dashboards in Looker to provide visibility of performance and emerging issues.
• Support investigations and remediation by profiling affected populations and validating fixes.

About the role

Our Data Science team solves complex problems with smart, practical solutions. Data Scientists and Analysts work directly with product teams to uncover insights, guide decisions, and improve how customers experience Revolut. They do this by delivering smart, scalable solutions that move the business forward.

We’re looking for a Data Analyst who can dig into our complex databases, look for the root cause of a problem, and design their own solutions by writing code to implement them.

What you'll be doing

• Analysing complex onboarding and FinCrime workflows to identify trends, bottlenecks, control gaps in the customer journey and opportunities for improvement
• Performing deep-dive and root cause analyses, connecting information across multiple datasets and workflow stages to explain why an issue is happening and quantify its impact
• Building and maintaining SQL queries, datasets, and analytical tools required to monitor the performance of onboarding and FinCrime processes
• Defining and monitoring key metrics across KYC/CDD, onboarding conversion, customer restrictions, screening, AML, and FinCrime operational workflows
• Developing dashboards and monitoring tools in Looker or equivalent BI platforms to provide clear visibility of performance and emerging issues
• Supporting investigations and remediation exercises by defining affected populations, analysing cases, and validating that fixes have been implemented correctly
• Partnering with Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Data teams to translate complex business problems into structured analytical questions and actionable solutions
• Deeping domain knowledge of onboarding and FinCrime procedures, and progressively becoming a data SME for these areas in Mexico

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience working with data analysis and creating impactful solutions
• The ability to manage a team and stakeholders
• Great skills with Python, SQL, or other programming languages
• Evidence of advanced mathematical and statistics knowledge

Nice to have

• An advanced degree in a core STEM subject
• Experience working within a global finance department
