A leading media company in Mexico City is seeking an Operational Support Specialist to enhance content management activities. Responsibilities include managing content traffic processes, tracking content assignments, and collaborating with Programming teams. Candidates should possess a degree in Television Studio Operation or Production and experience with data analysis tools like Tableau and Python. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient media workflows and delivering operational excellence.

YOUR NEW ROLE:

Their main goal is to provide operational support activities to the broader regional Content Management teams (onboarding, longform servicing and ancillary servicing) with a key objective of more efficient, sustainable and successful content management activities and deliverables.

This role will manage all deadlines for processing content from the reception of masters to the air version readiness. They will achieve this by defining, obtaining and analyzing content management metrics, KPIs, and preventive checks via data validation, cross referencing and analysis.

YOUR NEW ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Manage the content traffic process across different areas. From external/internal vendors/distributors based on parameters already given by the strategy teams. 20%
  • Keeps track of content assigned (rejections, replacements, missing content) 20%
  • Creates and manage work orders across systems for all operations areas, setting timelines and processes required. 25%
  • Works closely to Programming teams in order to archive the business strategy plan, giving proper feedback about operation processes. 15%
  • Data entry of technical and operative information across media assets management systems. Creates and follows reports in order to guarantee the proper airing of content. 20%
THE ESSENTIALS:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in - Television Studio Operation or Television Studio Production
  • Experience with data analysis and data analysis tools (tableau, looker, powerBI, python, R, or similar)
  • Technical knowledge of media workflows and content management workflows
  • Experience in negotiation and tracking.
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Experience in Working in a multinational corporation
  • Experience in Media operations for at least 3 years
  • Experience in other roles in broadcast (playout, transmission, graphics, postproduction, content management)
  • Experience in other roles such as Programming or roles that implies working with vendors/ distributors.
