CHANEL in Guadalajara is seeking an experienced Alterationist to deliver high-quality Chanel-standard alterations within set timeframes. The role works closely with the Alteration Lead to ensure the Perfect Fit and an exceptional client experience in a luxury retail environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of tailoring experience, strong couture sewing skills, and knowledge of garment construction.

Formación

• Academic training in clothing and fashion design or tailoring apprenticeship or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a tailor with basic to advanced alteration skills.
• Past experience in an international fashion house is a plus.
• Strong couture sewing and garment construction knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Understand alteration requirements from pins and preserve the original Chanel silhouette.
• Ensure alterations do not distort the creative intent of the garment.
• Carry out alterations on complex pieces with precision and invisibility.
• Assist fittings with clients and coordinate with Alteration Lead for optimal service quality.
