Flex in Guadalajara, North, is seeking a Cost Accountant to support accounting records and provide financial insights. The role reports to the Controller and focuses on maintaining books and analyzing variances. You will review P&L postings, reconcile balance sheets, assist with forecasts and budgets, and collaborate with Operations to improve metrics.

Proficiency in Excel and strong English required. This is a full-time on-site position offering a competitive salary, benefits, and career growth

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience in Finance or related field.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Knowledge of variation reports vs forecast.
• Intermediate-Advanced English level.
• Knowledge and Experience with Excel.
• Schedule flexibility and availability to support business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform periodic review of Profit and Loss (P&L) to ensure postings follow policy.
• Compare Actual vs Forecast / Quote and ensure variances are researched and adjusted.
• Collect the business reasons for variances and report appropriately.
• Reconcile Balance sheet accounts with sub-ledger/manual schedules to identify variances and address them in books.
• Review accounts periodically to identify potential risk and mitigate.
• Ensure book close related activities are planned and executed timely with accuracy.
• Assist with Forecast/Budget for related accounts.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve business/operational metrics.
• Familiarize with Controllers Handbook and reporting requirements.
