A leading packaging manufacturer in Querétaro is seeking a Cost Accountant to support budgeting processes and prepare cost analyses. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include developing quotations, conducting profitability studies, and overseeing inventory movements. This role requires excellent analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software including MS Excel.

Formación

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a cost accountant.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP.
• Experience in financial reporting and budget control.

Job Description

Responsible for the preparation of cost analyses and support in budgeting processes, providing reliable information to ensure accurate decision-making. Also responsible for developing and calculating quotations and profitability studies for each product. Oversees the proper recording of inventory movements in direct coordination with the area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study.
• Proven work experience as a cost accountant (3 to 5 years)
• Extensive knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Inventory control and management
• In-depth understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Experience in financial reporting
• Budget preparation and control
• Experience with accounting software Computer skills, MS Excel in particular
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
