Cost Accountant – Reynosa Plant

As a Cost Accountant you will be responsible for preparation of unit costs through tracking and controlling purchase orders as well as labor and overhead rates. Reconciliation and control of inventories and cost of sales. Recording and controlling inventory and scrap adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete and timely contribution margin analysis for company products by part number program and customer.
• Update Standard Cost in SAP.
• BOM auditor.
• Ensure financial costing month end fulfillment.
• Purchase price variance.
• Freight costing analysis.
• Scrap review to determine root causes and provide recommendations.
• PPR (product margin).
• Annual direct labor rate calculations & deviations to the actual cost analysis.
• Annual budget process. Assist the controller in the financial planning budget for the full year period.
• Costing allocations.
• Annual cost roll up calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in general accounting/Finance.
• Requires 3 years of finance experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Skill in computer software Office. Excellent skills in Excel.
• Strong knowledge in SAP.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem solving.
• Collaboration and teamwork skills.
• English advanced.
