Markwins Beauty Brands in Mexico - Tijuana is seeking an R&D Testing Engineer to support the development, testing, evaluation and validation of cosmetic and personal care products. The role involves laboratory testing, material and product evaluation, and collaboration with R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Production teams to ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related product testing or R&D experience.
• Hands-on laboratory testing with analytical equipment.
• Experience with stability testing, product evaluation, raw material testing, and batch evaluation.
• Experience with packaging compatibility and seal integrity testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with NOM, ISO, ASTM and COFEPRIS cosmetic regulations in Mexico.
• Proficient in Excel; English proficiency both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct physical and physicochemical testing of cosmetic and personal care products
• Develop and perform testing protocols for stability, compatibility, and performance
• Conduct real-time and accelerated stability studies and document results
• Evaluate materials, bulk products, and production batches against specifications
• Support scale-up trials and assess formulation/ process risks
• Test packaging compatibility and seal integrity and document results
• Investigate testing abnormalities and support root-cause investigations
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Production and external labs for specialized testing
• Analyze results and prepare technical reports and recommendations
• Maintain GLP-aligned lab records and procedures; ensure COFEPRIS compliance for Mexico
