Job summary

Menasha Corporation, including ORBIS, is seeking a procurement professional in Mexico to maintain close collaboration with Sales, Production, PM, Planning and Logistics to secure timely deliveries and optimal supplier performance. You will negotiate terms, monitor supplier performance reports, and manage purchase orders with a focus on accuracy and on-time delivery.

In this role, you will engage with subcontractors as needed, visit sites, and ensure VIPER and SAP data align with inventory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement with Sales, Production, PM, Planning and Logistics.
• Negotiate lead times, production capacity, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Follow up on quality, quantity, and delivery concerns with suppliers.
• Prepare supplier performance reports (OTD, quality, VIPER accuracy, service metrics).
• Create, manage and follow up on purchase orders until closure.
• Visit subcontractors as required by project needs.
• Monitor production progress and ensure intercompany purchases and raw materials are placed correctly in VIPER and SAP.

About The Opportunity

Maintain continuous communication with Sales, Production, PM, Planning, and Logistics departments to ensure delivery on time and all the needs of subcontractors are met. Negotiate and evaluate lead times, production capacity, and commercial conditions when necessary. Follow up on quality, quantity, and delivery concerns with suppliers. Prepare supplier performance reports, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), quality, Viper accuracy, and service metrics. Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders until closure. Visit subcontractors as required by the specific needs. Monitor production progress and confirm inventories. Create and ensure all intercompany purchases are made on time for any subcontracting needs, as well as necessary raw materials, including the needed GR/IR. Manage VIPER and SAP in order to ensure the information of the SAP match vs inventory, check the requirements of material and that are in the correct place. Coordinate the Subcontracting outboard call. Make subcontracting deliveries, included, but not limited to 4008, 4508, 4502 company code.
