GE Vernova Gas Power seeks a Contract Performance Manager to lead P&L for energy service and maintenance contracts, overseeing resources and logistics to maintain, repair and refurbish site assets. You will balance onsite execution with financial accountability and act as the primary customer liaison.

You will drive portfolio growth through collaboration with Sales, planning and executing programs, and maintaining strong relationships with customers across the region, including travel up to 50%

Formación

  • This position requires some experience in the Services & Customer Service Management.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • This position requires prior experience in a customer facing role.
  • This position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in the energy generation industry.
  • The candidate should be willing and able to travel at least 50% of the time to customer sites.

  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support services offered for assigned region, product, or coverage area.
  • P&L leader with accountability in financial objectives against Op Plan for the year.
  • Responsible for financial results of contracts executed to perform within the as-sold budget.
  • Support Sales team to identify and pursue commercial opportunities.
  • Execute strategy for portfolio growth.
  • Responsible for operational KPIs regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
  • Responsible for knowledge of assigned region, coverage area, or product lines, their associated configuration installations, and represents the most direct access to all appropriate internal functions to support the customer.
  • Establish and maintain contact to provide on‑going technical and business support to assigned customers in designated geographic region or coverage area.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
  • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Job Description Summary

The Contract Performance Manager serves as the primary P&L lead and customer liaison for energy service and maintenance contracts, overseeing the full lifecycle of resources and logistics required to maintain, repair, and refurbish site assets. You will be responsible for both the strategic planning and tactical execution of preventive and remedial maintenance, managing field services engineering and facility operations to ensure high-performance standards in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. By leveraging your technical expertise and industry experience, you will act with autonomy to resolve complex customer concerns, drive portfolio growth through commercial collaboration with Sales, and influence cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. This role requires a professional who can effectively balance onsite operational execution with high-level financial accountability while maintaining strong, proactive relationships with customers across the region.

Desired Characteristics
  • Prior experience executing contracts with CFE would be highly desired.
  • Prior experience in roles related to contract management or planning and execution of outages in combined/simple cycle power plants.
  • Leadership to influence other team members while not necessarily reporting directly with the services organization.
  • Established project management skills.
