A digital content firm is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to manage client social media efforts. Salary: USD 18,000 to USD 22,000 per year. Full‑time contractor. Fully remote.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with contacts to ensure social media post dependencies are proactively cleared in a timely manner, and meet client expectations.
  • Deliver strategic social media recommendations on how client needs can best be met.
  • Schedule and review content across a variety of social networks and YouTube channels.
  • Coordinate with Storm Ideas' content production, copywriting and captioning teams.
  • Research clients' shows/movies and carry out regular account audits.
  • Conduct regular research on social media platform updates and brainstorm strategies and tactics based on the latest trends and features.
  • Optimise content for YouTube with effective thumbnails and copy.
Qualifications
  • Good school grades.
  • Social media‑focused, self‑starting with ambition to grow.
  • Comfortable stepping beyond the brief and owning projects end‑to‑end over time.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse data qualitatively.
  • Experience working with the latest hardware and software—Windows or Mac.
Benefits & Working Conditions

Remote‑First & Flexible. Fully remote within South Africa. To best support our Pacific Time US clients, you will work one late shift per week (12:30 pm– 9 pm ET) and cover one or two weekend days each month.

How to Apply

First, you will receive questions to answer via a self‑recorded video. During the meeting, Bella, our Head of Social Media Management, will get to know you and try to understand if you’re a good fit for the role, and answer all your questions. Following this, there will be a short task to test your attention to detail and communication skills. There may also be a short (30‑minute via MS Teams) follow‑up interview with Duncan, our Chief Content Officer.
