EmployIT is assisting a leading global organization in recruiting a Bilingual Cloud Security Engineer Jr. to join their Information Security team at the Shared Services Center in Yecapixtla, Morelos.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security for Azure and OCI, with on-site work, strict English communication, and collaboration with global teams. Requires a Bachelor's in cybersecurity/IT and 3+ years of cloud security experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a cloud security focus.
• Advanced spoken and written English proficiency.
• Hands-on Azure and OCI security tooling experience (Azure Security Center, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, OCI WAF).
• IAM implementation for Azure and Oracle Cloud (Entra ID, IDCS).
• Scripting for security automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Responsabilidades

• Configure and manage native cloud security tools (Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Oracle Cloud Guard, Oracle WAF).

• Automate security processes using scripting languages and support DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices in cloud environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, analyze cloud network traffic, and manage incident response for cloud systems.

On behalf of our client, a leading global organization, our recruitment firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bilingual Cloud Security Engineer Jr. to join their Information Security team at their Shared Services Center located in Yecapixtla, Morelos.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect enterprise cloud-based systems and data, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Position OverviewLocation: Yecapixtla, Morelos, Mexico (100% On-Site)

Language Requirement: Fluent / Advanced English (Mandatory for daily collaboration with global teams and stakeholders)

Key Responsibilities

• Security Controls & Architecture: Design, implement, and monitor security controls for Azure and Oracle cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Cloud Tooling Management: Configure and manage native cloud security tools (e.g., Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Oracle Cloud Guard, Oracle WAF).
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Implement and oversee IAM policies and roles in Azure (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD) and Oracle Cloud (IDCS).
• Automation & DevSecOps: Automate security processes using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and support DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices in cloud environments.
• Threat Mitigation & Response: Conduct vulnerability assessments, analyze cloud network traffic, and manage incident response for cloud systems.

Candidate Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles with a dedicated focus on cloud security.
• Language Skills: Advanced spoken and written English proficiency (Required).
• Azure Security Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Network Security Groups.
• Oracle OCI Expertise: Proficiency with Oracle Cloud Guard, Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), Key Management Service (KMS), and Oracle Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Scripting & Technical Skills: Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell for security automation, along with strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption practices
