Bluelight is a leading software consultancy seeking a senior architect to design end-to-end, low-latency systems across AWS and PostgreSQL/Aurora. You will guide architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and drive ADRs, architecture reviews, and SDK integrations, collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Formación

• 8+ years of software development with 3+ years in an architecture role.
• Design low-latency AWS architectures with decisions on distributed components.
• Budget-aware latency (p95/p99) and durable path design.
• Audit/evidence systems, append-only logs and versioned models.
• Fail-open/fail-closed semantics and outage postures.
• Secure multi-tenant architectures with tradeoff analysis.
• Deep PostgreSQL/AuroraDB with RLS applied at data level.
• RESTful APIs design and SDK integrations.
• Architectural standards, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Documentation via ADRs and architecture diagrams.
• Ability to present decisions in reviews; work with AI coding assistants.
• End-to-end large-scale system experience; US hours overlap.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership; meticulous attention to detail.
