A leading technology company in Mexico is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Consultant, Associate to monitor system health and manage ticketing operations. This role requires knowledge of computer systems, networking, and operating systems, as well as proactivity in coordinating with customers. Ideal candidates should have a recent Computer Science degree and be willing to work in a hybrid environment, attending the office three days a week.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Consultant, Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring system health, managing backups and restores, handling tickets, and coordinating with customers and vendors to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations.

A Day in the Life typically includes:
  • Performsystem health checksand validate backup success (BRMS).
  • Handlerestoration requestsand troubleshoot related issues.
  • MonitorWintel restarts,disk space issues,RDP access problems, andserver availability.
  • Configure and manageHalcyon alerts and monitoring rules.
  • Analyze and addressERP application alerts(e.g., environment down, job failures, subsystem or login issues).
  • Investigate and resolveASP performance spikesacross AS400 servers.
  • Work closely with thehosting partnerfor customer-related escalations.
  • Gain full understanding and ownership ofHalcyon monitoring setup and administration.
  • Maintain and createdocumentation, including standard operating procedures, flow charts, and templates.
  • ManageServiceNow activities: ticket creation, bulk updates, change requests, and new customer/infra additions.
  • DevelopL1 documentationfor recurring operational activities.
  • Supportprinter and job scheduling management(BRMS, ROBOT, AJS, Native Scheduler, IBM i OS, HTTP Admin Console).
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience working with computer systems, networking, and operating systems.
  • Experience working withMicrosoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • English written and verbal communication skills.
  • This role requires working some weekend shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience withIBM i OS,Work Management,BRMS,ROBOT, andHalcyontools.
  • Experience or coursework involvingmonitoring toolsandticketing systems (ServiceNow).
  • Experience iwthbackup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Recent graduate in Computer Science or related field.
