A dynamic procurement company in Mexico is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee strategic direction and manage procurement processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and extensive procurement experience. Key responsibilities include developing cost optimization strategies and negotiating contracts with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with procurement policies, and monitoring market trends.

Formación

  • Proven experience in procurement, ideally with contract negotiation expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and procurement tools.

  • Act as point of contact for stakeholders and determine global priorities.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies by all team members.

Procurement Manager

This role is responsible for the strategic direction and management of a category under scope of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as point of contact for internal or external stakeholders and determine global priorities for the Category
  • Ensure Category, Procurement and Stakeholder team members adhere to procurement policies
  • Develop cost optimization strategies for the category
  • Negotiate contracts with key OEMs and agreements
  • Monitor markets on a regular basis to identify and understand key players, new comers, economic evolutions, market or regulation constraints, innovations and technology in order to support the development of the most up to date category strategies for the business
About this Role

This position will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, identifying and mitigating supply chain risk. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience in procurement.
