Key Marketing Position

We're in the process of developing a groundbreaking approach to home rental approval. Our vision is backed by prominent venture capital firms, major real estate groups, and one of the fastest-growing operator networks in the U.S. The ideal candidate will lead our marketing engine: brand development, content creation, narrative building, distribution, CEO presence, and industry pulse.

This role requires close collaboration with the CEO and Head of Content to build a recognizable brand. This isn't an ordinary 'marketing calendar' position.

It demands creativity, innovation, and the ability to shape company culture. The successful candidate will create engaging content that captures attention and transforms our company into a sought-after brand in the real estate and fintech industries.

Responsibilities
  • Owning the full marketing stack: narrative, brand, content, press, social media, and distribution.
  • 10x-ing the CEO and leadership's presence through ghostwriting compelling LinkedIn content.
  • Creating real-time content around real estate, technology, and operator culture.
  • Leading and upskilling the content team: Head of Content, Podcast Manager, plus future hires.
  • Managing our multi-platform engine – LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, email, website.
  • Transforming complex renter / landlord / fintech concepts into human, useful, and fun content.
  • Developing campaigns and live activations (events, panels, podcast clips, partnerships).
  • Overseeing SEO strategy – from keyword mapping to content optimization to technical recommendations, ensuring our content becomes discoverable everywhere it lives.
  • Establishing a constant stream of ideas that can be executed quickly – before they lose momentum.
  • Partnering with leadership on brand moments, launches, press angles, and category storytelling.
  • Setting the creative pace for the team – moving swiftly, thinking strategically, and consistently operating ahead of the curve.
Content & Team Leadership
  • Designing a company-wide content ecosystem – empowering teammates to become active storytellers.
  • We'll develop prompts, scripts, templates, and creative direction so employees can confidently share their experiences on LinkedIn / X each week.
  • Our goal: replicating the HubSpot playbook and creating a team-driven distribution flywheel. This is a founder‑adjacent, build‑it‑from‑scratch leadership position.
Candidate Qualities
  • Deep familiarity with LinkedIn culture and knowledge of how to create content that stands out.
  • Thinking in headlines, hooks, frameworks, clips, and memes.
  • Turning dense research or industry data into something people share and save.
  • Thriving in an early‑stage chaos environment where speed takes precedence over polish and ownership supersedes direction.
  • Managing creative teams and elevating their performance.
  • Understanding B2B distribution and growing executive + company presence.
  • The ideal candidate is the early‑stage marketing operator who naturally sees what to do next and executes without being asked.
  • They learn fast, adapt fast, and think fast – especially when it comes to platform shifts, content trends, and audience behavior.
  • Experience running marketing for a Seed or Series A / B startup or serving as the #2 marketer at a rocketship and now ready to step into the #1 seat.
  • Consistently generating high‑impact ideas and executing them faster than the average team can keep up.
Preferred Skills
  • Ghostwriting for founders and C‑level executives.
  • Strong copy instincts – writing a post that lands.
  • Comfortable directing video, producing content, or giving on‑camera guidance.
  • Experience creating viral or high‑engagement content in real estate, tech, or finance.
  • Ability to run experiments across LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts.
  • Familiarity with press cycles, placements, newsletters, and industry media.
  • Bonus: podcast experience or having built your own following / newsletter / media project.
