We are looking for a Chief Backend Engineer with expertise in Golang and Node.js to join our team. This position will focus on backend development and contribute to refining the solution architecture. The role is pivotal in helping the team achieve greater ownership of the system while delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build highly scalable and efficient backend systems for the Web Console
• Design services and APIs using Go and Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system architecture and maintain best practices
• Optimize backend services to maximize performance and reliability on a growing platform
• Utilize GCP data solutions such as BigQuery and Data Flows for large-scale data processing
• Implement full CI/CD automation using GitHub and Terraform
• Monitor and maintain system observability using Datadog tools
• Engage in team discussions to elevate code quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Take responsibility for system components with an emphasis on driving end-to-end improvements

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience with backend software development
• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Go
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data solutions, including BigQuery and Data Flows
• Proficiency in CI/CD implementation using GitHub and Terraform
• Background in system observability and monitoring techniques, particularly Datadog
• Understanding of microservices architecture and solution design principles
• Competency in problem‑solving and handling complex challenges effectively

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Google Cloud BigQuery and GitHub Actions
• Understanding of OpenAPI Specification (OAS) and standards for API documentation
• Capability to enhance and configure Datadog for effective system monitoring
