Together, with over 30,000 employees in 30+ countries, we build for boundless impact—touching billions of lives in the process. Visit us at UST.com.

You Are

We are seeking a motivated C# / .NET Developer who is passionate about building reliable cloud-scale distributed systems operating across hundreds of thousands of nodes. In this role, you will develop and maintain cloud services and software components that monitor and manage cloud hardware, assess platform health, execute intelligent remediation actions, and improve the availability and performance of large-scale infrastructure. You will work across Windows- and Linux-based environments and collaborate with engineering teams and customers to convert live-site learnings into durable product improvements.

This is a remote role from Mexico supporting the client from 8am to 5pm PST time (USA Time). Working days are from Monday to Friday.

The Opportunity

As a C#, .Net Developer, you will be responsible, but not limited to:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software components and cloud services using C#, .NET, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Develop client-side and server-side RESTful web services and APIs for monitoring, managing, and automating cloud hardware operations.
  • Build reliable service components that collect telemetry, evaluate hardware and service health, and initiate appropriate remediation or recovery actions.
  • Implement secure inter-service communication using certificate-based and token-based authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Develop software that operates on, integrates with, or manages Windows- and Linux-based systems in large distributed environments.
  • Monitor production service health, availability, latency, and performance; diagnose failures and drive repairs or mitigations for live-site incidents.
  • Analyze logs, telemetry, traces, and operational data to identify root causes, production trends, reliability gaps, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Apply sound engineering practices for multithreading, concurrency, fault tolerance, resiliency, scalability, and service observability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code, and participate in design reviews, code reviews, automated testing, and release validation.
  • Engage with customers and partner teams to understand live-site issues and translate findings into feature requirements, engineering improvements, or bug fixes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering architecture, APIs, service dependencies, operational procedures, troubleshooting guidance, and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate effectively with software engineers, service owners, hardware teams, and support stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality cloud services.
