OBJECTIVE :

Manage assigned categories to ensure that company requirements are met for delivery, quality, cost, and safety, and that values are maintained across the entire guidance supply base.

It owns the relationship with suppliers, driving them to continuously improve the value they offer to the company; It will also assess, manage, mitigate, and avoid risks along the supply chain for assigned categories.

REQUIREMENTS :
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, International Business or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience of 3 to 5 years within the food industry in the area of Purchasing or related area, knowledge of raw materials, direct conversion of food to materials, consultation of markets and price movements, planning of materials, etc.
  • Advanced Excel and SAP.
  • Excellent English skills (Spoken, Written, Read).
  • High analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Easy access to the presential work area in Cuajimalpa, CDMX.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Achieve maximum benefit from supplier relationships.
  • Drive value, cost savings, and joint process improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate joint service level agreements with suppliers.
  • It keeps abreast of economic, technological, capacity, and related developments.
  • Develop financial forecasts for assigned categories.
  • Update of the company's central supplier database.
  • Solve all regional quality, service, and financial issues for assigned categories.
  • Complete various financial reporting tasks, such as volume and price analysis, market reports, contract balance analysis, expense reports by vendor, quarterly cost standard updates, variance reports, interpretation of financial information, etc.
  • Using key supplier metrics, manages consistent service levels from suppliers and engages end-use partners to develop and manage action plans to address issues; It provides day-to-day supplier management, including order management, forecasting, pricing, invoicing, inventory levels, and regular supplier reviews and visits.
  • Participates in and/or leads negotiation sections with suppliers on contract terms, pricing, problem solving, etc. as an established procurement practice.
  • Makes presentations of results and recommendations to various groups, both internal and external.
