TACNA Services, located in Tijuana, is seeking a Strategic Buyer/Planner II to oversee supplier management and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain within a manufacturing environment and be proficient in both English and Spanish.

This full-time position offers a dynamic work schedule from Monday to Friday. The role involves maintaining MRP system data, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting project management initiatives.

Formación

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a high pace medical manufacturing environment is a plus.

Medical Device Company – Pacifico area. The Strategic Buyer/Planner II is responsible for the development and management of suppliers and all purchasing and planning activities relating to manufacturing, service and inventory control for assigned product lines. The position is also responsible for supporting the optimization of inventory levels, and to be alert to material changes, shortages, unplanned scrap and material availability. Maintains the MRP system data and its integrity, prepares and analyzes reports, and supports project management of existing and new products.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Business, Supply Chain preferred or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of supply chain improvements
• Able to speak, understand, and write in English and Spanish at a B2 or higher level
• APICS certification is a plus
• Proven experience in high pace medical manufacturing environment is a plus
• Ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures
• Able to work under general supervision and guidelines
