A global communications technology company is seeking a Buyer II in Tijuana, Mexico. The ideal candidate will maintain inventory levels and manage purchasing within a manufacturing environment. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, along with efficient communication skills and proficiency in English. Knowledge of MRP systems, Oracle, or SAP will excite us. Join us to be at the forefront of communications technology.

Formación

• At least 3 years purchasing experience or other work within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in MRP System.
• APICS training is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review MRP exception messages.
• Maintain optimal levels of inventory based on MRP Exception Messages.
• Work with departments to solve aged invoices issues.
• Follow up with receiving department for material receipt.
• Coordinate delivery of services and materials.
• Identify areas of opportunity for project savings.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

• Review MRP exception messages.
• Maintain optimal levels of inventory based on MRP Exception Messages.
• Work with related departments to solve aged invoices issues.
• Follow up with receiving department to capture receipt of material in system.
• Coordinate delivery of services, items, and materials until receiving transaction in the site.
• Actively participate as part of the projects and purchasing team that allows to identify areas of opportunity in the facility to accomplish project saving goals and targets.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• At least of 3 years purchasing experience or other work within a manufacturing environment
• Efficient communications skills
• Experience in MRP System
• Proficient in English Language (written and spoken).

You Will Excite Us if you Have

• Oracle and / or SAP Knowledge.
• APICS training (not essential providing other ERP experience)
