Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Buyer 2 to manage material planning and supplier relations for its manufacturing operations in Mexico. The role focuses on validating MRP alerts, reviewing inventory and PPVs, and supporting negotiations on MOQ, lead times and costs to align with the production plan.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of experience, an industrial engineering or related degree, and English at an intermediate level.

Formación

• Industrial Engineer or related field required.
• Lic in International Business and Administration of companies or related.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• English at an intermediate level.
• Experience with Oracle and APICS practices.

Responsabilidades

• Validate MRP alerts against demand and history to prevent shortages or excess.
• Review project inventory levels, shortages, obsolescence, PPVs and returns.
• Support buyers in supplier escalations to negotiate MOQ, PPV and lead times.
• Attend CIT daily meetings to report material status for the production plan and flag unaffordable materials.

Job Activities

• Validate that MRP alerts are accurate according to demand analysis and historical consumption, in order to avoid shortages and / or excess material.
• Review inventory levels, material short, obsolete excess, PPVs and inventory returns, of the project to which it is assigned.
• Support buyers, in escalations with suppliers for negotiation of MOQ, PPV & LT.
• Go to the daily meetings of CIT, with the information required to provide status of materials required for production plan, as well as question requirements of material that is not affordable to buy.
